Because I didn't feel like doing any work. I went to this website and played.

Here's my default LJ icon in the style of Botticelli, Mucha, Modigliani, and Manga:



I tried it with a few more pictures.







I suddenly have the urge to make many new LJ icons. Oh, yeah, I only have a free account. Fooie. Anyone want to buy me a paid account? *crickets chirping* I didn't think so .

That happened to me too. What I did was hit PRTSCN and paste the image into PhotoImpact and saved it that way.

Foo. Are you sure it's not a Java issue? I had to download the plugin from Java.com. And then when I got it working, I had to PRNTSCRN the resultant images, then paste into PhotoImpact (or whatever graphics program you have) to save the image.

If you can't get that working, email me the picture you want modified and I'll email you back the results!

Dang, you make a cute manga woman! I love the first two and the last one. As for the fine art, the first picture looks lovely as Botticelli and Mucha, I think the second Mucha is really good, and the last Botticelli and Mucha are lovely, too. (I see you are using one!)

Have you tried downloading the Java plugin? I needed to do it twice. The first download crashed during the install, but worked the second time. Are you not able to get it to work at all, or can you just not save the picture?
