I'm a science fiction, fantasy, horror, and children's lit. writer and an editor.

I won the Nebula Award in 2009 for my novelette "Sinner, Baker, Fabulist, Priest; Red Mask, Black Mask, Gentleman, Beast." My short story collection, Returning My Sister's Face and Other Far Eastern Tales of Whimsy and Malice, is now available from Norilana Books (click to see the table of contents and gorgeous cover art by Ahyicodae).

Publication highlights: Stories in Realms of Fantasy, Interzone, Fantasy Magazine, Cricket, Escape Pod, Podcastle, and Pseudopod and numerous anthologies including Best New Fantasy and the Nebula Awards Showcase 2011. My articles and interviews have appeared in Strange Horizons, Fantasy Magazine, the Internet Review of Science Fiction, Writing-World, and Absolute Write. I also co-authored a Psychology textbook with my advisor when I was in graduate school, published by Allyn & Bacon.

Misc. Details: I'm an active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), and I have a Master of Arts degree in Developmental Psychology. I'm also very happily married to fosteronfilm.

Visit my nifty website, EugieFoster.com, to see my complete bibliography and forthcoming works. You can also catch me on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.
